Your wedding is a one-off, special and precious occasion that has taken months of preparation and planning. The day will go by in a blur with you both remembering and missing things during the day. Therefore to record the day and help the memories come flowing back it is essential you choose a skilled and creative photographer who is understanding and sympathetic to your needs.
That is why we consider the art of wedding photography, capturing images and enduring memories that last for years and generations to come, to be the most important in the field of photography. A fashion or commercial photo-shoot can be re-shot, if a photographer misses an image at a catwalk show or reporting the news then another photographer could get the shot. However, a wedding is completely different as it cannot happen again and a specialist professional wedding photographer knows this. Before Your Big Day
Assuming you honour us with the commission to photograph your wedding, we will agree the photographs you want taken and use this as our guide to give you exactly what you desire. As every wedding is unique, you may want to specify photographs of or for loved ones, family and friends. Also details such as flowers, dress embellishments, shoes and rings often highlight the personal side of your wedding.
During Your Big Day
Pre-service photography at your home or other location can be arranged. Our female photographer can attend the Bride during preparations before leaving for the ceremony. Whilst our male photographer can capture the Groom and his entourage as they prepare for your Big Day.
By arriving early at the venue we will be there to photograph the Groom, Wedding Party, family, your guests arriving and, of course, the Bride's grand entrance. During the service, where and when appropriate (and if permitted) informal photographs will be taken, then signing of the register and aisle shots.
Formal and posed portraiture mixed with reportage images will then record who attended your Big Day, and can happen wherever you wish. Followed by classic shots such cake cutting, receiving line, first dance and further informal shots of you and your guests enjoying themselves at the reception.
After Your Big Day
Approximately 3 weeks after the wedding we will contact you and arrange to present you with your photographs, the JPEG files and slide-shows in both PC and DVD formats, as a reminder of your important day. You can then decide what products you want from the our range at your leisure and with no rush, all of which can be found on this website.
